Why a service on Azure rather than an Odoo module?

Odoo Online does not accept Python modules. The connector is installed in Odoo as a data module (models, views, access rights and automations), and a service on Azure links it to SharePoint through the Odoo external API and Microsoft Graph.

What happens when a file is deleted in SharePoint?

Depending on the folder policy, the document is quarantined (the default), archived, deleted or kept in Odoo. A version changed in Odoo and not yet synced is never lost: the deletion becomes a conflict to handle.

Does the connector have access to our whole SharePoint?

No. The application uses the Microsoft Graph Sites.Selected permission: the Microsoft 365 administrator grants access site by site, and only the configured folders are synced.

What are the requirements?
