The project
The challenge
Every two years, the City of Luxembourg organises the Sécherheets- a Gesondheetswochen (SGW): four weeks dedicated to safety, health, well-being and professional development. Twelve to eighteen months of preparation between HR, internal communication and safety relied on Access, Excel and e-mail, with a strong dependency on a single person.
Our answer
Cellenza recommended and deployed Odoo as the central platform for the whole SGW cycle: trainers and course catalogue, session planning, rooms and equipment, registrations, approvals, attendance and satisfaction surveys. Employees register online, external trainers have their own portal, and Odoo Accounting tracks budgets, costs, invoices and payments.
The result
From registration to certificate, the process is automated and shared across departments. Real-time dashboards track registrations, occupancy rates and waiting lists, and costs are centralised. A lasting digital foundation for the next editions.
How the platform is built
A business data model
Courses, participants and resources (trainers, sessions, rooms) modelled in Odoo, all the way to attendance and certificates.
Standard, Studio, then Python
Standard modules first, Odoo Studio for adjustments, Python development only where it adds value.
Traceable registrations
Training paths, approvals and traceability suited to how a public administration works.
Open to Microsoft 365
Integrations with Teams and SharePoint were identified and scoped for communication and document management.
A single point of contact
Cellenza links the City’s HR, internal IT and developers, with regular architecture reviews.
Adopted by the teams
Smooth adoption by HR teams, with processes designed together with them.
